Nice size for a small fire Compacts well into case. Nice size for a small fire. Definitely need to burn down to coals before cooking since it is not deep enough to grill over flames. Doesn’t fit all that tight, so ash will spill on ground. Grate fits exactly into top, so if any wood is sticking out or the grill is a bit off square you need to maneuver the grate. All in all I love the size and being able to view the fire. Would only use for picnics or tailgating due to the weight.
Good for Camping, wish they made a LARGER one I wasn’t sure about this grill at first because it’s relatively small. We bought the LARGEST size and I was hesitant I would like it. It worked out really great though for camping using both wood and charcoal for grilling burgers and having a small campfire. The burgers stuck though so I would recommend using a nonstick oil or spray on the grill grate beforehand. It’s very lightweight and compact. Good for camping trips. I would say the only downside is you have to find relatively small logs…
