It will cook slow and easy on low heat for chicken and pork and it … I’ve read at least one review stating that the Chinese unit is not up to Weber’s old standards. This is our first Weber so we do not have that yardstick to go by. We’ve owned many grills over the years, most of which have been junk. And not all of them were cheap either. Nice looking when new Nice looking when new. however when using it its a smoker stainless steel discolors from smoke vents.I question stainless steel quality as material is magnetic. Good stainless is none magnetic. When you lift cover heat burns your hands .Same with door handle gets very hot.I had a Weber spirit 210 which was smaller but it was about 10yrs old it was a very good grill without the above observations it was not a stainless steel. It was a blue porcelain model. we will see how this works out…
Consumer Reports was right This unit was a top rating in consumer reports recently. Home Depot and Lowes didn’t stock it. (of course!!) Ordered from Amazon. They had it in stock and delivered fast. Putting it together was easy. Directions clear. I did it alone in an hour. It’s expensive, but everything consumer reports promised. Great unit. Love it
