Cleans grill grate great! This product really works. I didn’t want to use wire grill cleaners after reading that some people had been found to have wire in their intestines from wire cleaners. This gets the job done without any additional worry about what may find its way into your system at a later date!
OK SCRUBBER This Scrubber works fairly well but is very similar to the Brinkmann BBQ Scrubber with Replacement Pad, Model 812-9237-S, UPC 0 39953 52709 8 that is readily available at big box stores at low cost. The Weber Scrubber uses a blanket of pin shaped projections to hold the pad and has a slightly different handle than the Brinkmann that uses a Velcro surface to hold the pad and has a handle that I find more comfortable.
Disappointed. Disappointed. Pins on scrubber are so small they do not grab the pad. Weber recommends you use this with their $11.99 spray cleaner on a cold grill. Didn’t want to use chemicals. Liked my Grill Daddy but gave it up after reading about wire bristles breaking off and possibly being ingested. Liked using grill daddy with steam on hot grill, no chemicals. Pads are thin on this product. Expected more from Weber. Should have read reviews more carefully. Do not recommended this product at all.
