What’s old is new again! After many years, my original drip tray simply became too coated with grease, charred drippings, etc. No matter how many times I scraped and scrubbed it, flare ups and fires were occurring far too often. It was time for a tune up on the old Weber Genesis Silver B, so I bought this tray, a new catch pan/holder, and a set of stainless steel flavorizer bars. This tray worked perfectly! It is identical to the original. The old grill is like new again!
Replace this part every 5 years or so. I love my Weber Grill !It’s easy to find spare parts for it at local stores and on-line.But, this drip tray has never been available before and it’s the one part that rusts faster than any other part.Mine has caught fire many times and needed replacement.Meanwhile, I had been cleaning it a lot and patching the rusty hole so I could keep the smaller aluminum drip tray attached.This was the only part that I could not find for years !!!
