Works fine As others have commented, this came without instructions or wires, so it wasn’t a complete kit. Also, my grill has the igniter on the left side of the front panel, and there were some suggestions on the Web that with that setup you need to essentially take the grill apart to replace the igniter.
Make sure to buy the correct one for your make and model Weber. Nice product and easy to install, but very hard to find information on the correct part to use. This item comes with more then is advertise on Amazon. Make sure to buy the correct one for your make and model Weber. The advertisement could be improved greatly. Kit comes with very simple instructions. I would suggest installing the entire kit, My grill now works like new!
No wires or hardware?! I got my new igniter “kit” today and the only part that shipped was the control box. No wiring, no brackets and no hardware. Needless to say I’m a little annoyed, as I read a lot of the reviews saying that they received the full kit, not just the control box.
