Good but a bit expensive We’ve had our Weber grill for ten years now and are on our third set of stainless steel grates, bars and burners. We use our grill more than we use our range/oven and we use it all year long. I wouldn’t use anything other than stainless steel; however, I think the ratio of expense to durability could be improved for the grate and bars. I’d prefer to see the price come down. I just don’t understand why a non-moving stainless steel product can’t last more than five years.
Looks great! Okay, I don’t think these made me into a better chef (to my wife’s disappointment), but they look a helluva lot better than the rusted things they replaced, which had begun to look like something dredged up from the Titanic. (I had already replaced the original cooking grate, and stainless is the way to go!)
Weber 7537 Stainless Steel Flavorizor Bars I have owned my Weber gas grill for 15 years. It is awesome. Mine is the Genesis Silver. The original bars just broke apart after 12 years of continuous use. Now they have this upgrade since the originals were not stainless steel. Noting else has worn out on my grill. In fact there are still one or two original bars in my grill. I just as they break replace with the new ones. The grill was the best bbq investment ever.
