They let me schedule the service, but immediately canceled within an hour. Great BBQ, worth the extra money I’ve had a number of inexpensive BBQ’s from a variety of manufacturers. In fact this purchase replaced one of those. We decided to pay a little more for the durability of a quality unit. This is a great BBQ period. Well made, durable and does a great job. Should last a very long time with good routine care and a very good warranty through Weber. Another case of You Get What You Pay For.We couldn’t be happier with this unit.
Disappointed by flimsy construction and gas valves Weber has made this product extremely lightweight, probably because they are having it made in China and will save on shipping. The first one we got had a chunk broken out of he side of the hinged cover. I was amazed to see how thin the cast metal was. That one was replaced by Amazon. Then the replacement unit barely rolled up against a corner when moved and one of the gas valve stems bent. Weber said had to replace the whole manifold with 3 valves for $95. That really isn’t true as their…
