Disappointed Before the Holidays! Poor Quality Absolutely disappointed. After waiting for over a month for this product, it was a total let down. Firstly the product arrived damaged in shipping. Secondly, when I removed the bottom of the kettle from the box (which wasn’t damaged), the LIMITED EDITION Red paint chipped off as I handled it with my hands. Do NOT buy from Amazon…go to a local hardware store to get this item. First, I LOVE Weber grills. They are great, especially the 22 in. kettle grills. But do NOT buy it from Amazon. One of the leg pieces arrived completely bent. Called to get a replacement part, and it came bent at the end that connects to the grill. I had to use pliers and a hammer to finally get it on. The front handle was bent, and the lid of the grill is missing some paint that will probably lead to rusting or something down the line. If I had bought it at a local hardware store, I…
Inspect before assembling. Defective coating. I really wanted to give it a one-star rating but love Weber too much. Received the kettle with the same defects that many people were reporting. The lid and bowl were covered with bumps and other defects. I would expect this grill to be in a pristine state especially being a red limited edition. Photos attached.
