Totally Awesome I bought this to replace a folding hibachi that just couldn’t cut it. This is a technical grill, so you need to read the instructions, and have some good tongs. You can end up moving charcoal around a bit. I also got the gas attachment. That burned hot in the center and didn’t diffuse very well. The instructions do recommend a center plate to help with that.But this puppy pops right up when you grab the handle. And then it collapses as soon as you pick it up. And it is very…
Volcano II Stove Have had ours for over a year. Is great for dutch oven cooking. We have 12, 10, & 8 inch ovens and they all fit. Also have used as a grill. On our last outing, used it for a small campfire. Great outdoors tool with so many places not allowing open fires.
I can see why they call it “Volcano” This thing heats up like a blowtorch and fast. I have been doing dutch oven cooking for years, and I have never had a better solution for dutch oven cooking. This dude gets hot and fast, but it has a vent control that lets you adjust the airflow to the coals. I have never had temperature control like I have with this stove. Excellent.
