So thin!! But … wow! I was expecting some thing more like a silpat, but not even close. And that’s a good thing. They are thin, and I was a little skeptical at first. Amazing product I live in the south so it is still very warm here. I revieved these mats the other day and my husband and I decided to try them out. I was pleasntly surprised to find out even though they are thin they are great. Great protectiioon for your grill! The matts are awesome to use on our outdoor grill or in our smoker. The worst part of grilling was cleaning up the grills afterwards. With these, you lay them down, cook on top of them and then pull them off and clean them off. We have seen some people use a regular dishwasher to clean these matts.
