It functions, Barely I suppose I was spoiled by buying a commercial Japanese made version of this stove previously. It came and I tried it. The burner would not light from the piezoelectric ignighter. I had to light it manually and it seemed to burn lower than I expected. I returned it because it would not light correctly.The top black portion of the stove cover and pot support are enameled steel. It stores upside-down in the cheap flimsy storage case.
