Quality portable gas stove for the money!! I received this stove and am quite pleased at the quality and craftsmanship given the sale price I purchased it for. I tested it out with a conversion hose and 20lb propane tank as well as the standard 16.4 ounce tanks and it works fine.
Pretty nice box stove So this is a carbon copy of a lot of other brands. Others complained of poor rivets and loose connections. Not mine – excellent mechanical integrity (maybe I got lucky). I liked this one because the painted surfaces make sense, the steel surfaces make sense, the grate is very well designed and capable of holding very small pans, the flame range is pretty good (lots of knob rotation is required to reduce it down from the highest flow, but once it does, control is very good at the low end),…
My propane tank started shooting flames due to the crappy regulator I used to really like this stove but it has some very dangerous quality issues. I’ve had it for 4 years and it sees no more than 10 days of use per year. This year one of the burners stopped working. Then this weekend the pressure regulator started leaking while I was using the stove and flames were shooting out of the propane tank.
