The “Wild Card” of Flat-Top Griddles Construction: (A) The metal pieces are powder-coated and feel professional. For good measure, I sprayed a light clear-coat for added rust protection. As long as you keep it covered, I donâ??t see rust being too much of an issue. Once put together, the Royal Gourmet GB4000 feels very sturdy; more so than my friend’s Camp-Chef, which feels flimsy and wobbles when you shift it. Amazing value!! Absolutely amazing value!!! Works great and even looks better. The grill uses quality threaded rivet inserts for the assembly bolts that get very tight which gives the finished grill a super sturdy feel, this grill is heavy and does not wobble at all. Very good quality for the money, all pieces are very thoroughly powder coated even on the backside!!
