Solid ss ??? Not sure. See attached pic, cross cut shows two distinct layers, not sure what is inner layer made off, but surely outer very thin layer will separate. The question is how soon. Just got those grates.

I installed them on my Weber Spirit 310 over the weekend and they do not fit as well as they should. They will work but I have to be very careful with food placement to make sure the grills do not fall into the grill body. I guess I was off on my measurements when I was looking for replacement grills, my fault. If these would fit your grill I would recommend them, just make sure you measure correctly.
Good fit, finish and quality. Perfect fit for my Weber Genesis Silver B grill. I recently completed a total rehab on my grill, replacing all replaceable parts, including knobs. These racks are very nice and easy to clean. Should last a few years.
