Other features include porcelain-coated cooking grates, alternative option smokestack locations & multiple dampers for easy heat & smoke control. Main chamber & firebox employ cool-touch handles to protect hands from heat. Firebox contains a large, stainless steel basket for easier fuel management, & a clean-out door for simplified ash removal. Offers front & bottom shelves, a 3″ professional lid-mounted temperature Gauge & large 10″ wheels for easy mobility. Firebox features a convenient access door to easily tend the fire. Very Pleased Especially at this Price level! Overall I am very happy with this smoker. I have not had an offset smoker for some years and really missed tending the fire and controlling the cook. I have a Big Green Egg and a Yoder pellet smoker and love cooking on them both, but missed cooking 100% with wood. This thing is built very head duty. Great smoker, has exceeded my expectations This is a great smoker for the money. I made all of the common modifications upon assembly (rtv silicone, lavalock gasket, clamps on door, upgraded tel-true thermometers, raised coal basket up with two bricks laid on their sides).
