Not bad at all (on the second try though) Ordered one for my aging Permasteel grill with rusty cast iron grid.First off all the packaging is pretty lame – it came in a box too big with just some paper padding inside. But the problem was that it already had some rust spots, and some silver painted weld spots. I wanted to just send it back and forget about it, but I was willing to give it a second try, so I return it for an exchange.The second one came next day (thanks Amazon) in the same lame packaging. Just what I was looking for The grids fit perfect in my Permasteel grill. Well made sturdy construction. Very heavy duty. Much better than the factory cast ones. Price and delivery were also both reasonable.
I have forgotten how nice it is to have a new grill. I brought my Jenn-air 7 years ago. My cooking grates finally gave up and started to fall apart so it was time to rebuild. These new grate are a better gauge steel than what came with the grill so i look for many years of good food.
