Works on my Grand Turbo I wasn’t sure about these for my Grand Turbo. Other posters had said they were too short for the Grand Turbo while some said they fit. These are shorter than the original parts. But if you look at the picture you see the bottom lock nut; the bottom nut was not installed on my parts but the top nut was tight against the bracket. I loosened it and screwed the bracket to the bottom of the treads and tightened the lock nut. This left me about 1/8″ short of the original length, and in my…
Good replacement igniter This is a great unit that works well, every time. This is either an original OEM part, or a perfect replacement part for the BBQ Galore “Grand Turbo” line of bbq’s. I say either because it’s perfect drop in replacement part for these bbq’s. If I had any criticism for this unit, it would be that the steel used degrades to the point of failure after about 2 years use. Is that bad? good quality but the connecting bottom stem is too short The part is built with quality, however the stem connector at the bottom is too short. If i drop it more to make a solid a contact at the bottom, then it becomes too low at the top to get the spark to the burners. This may work for other grills, but it does not work well for the Grand Turbo.
