Not for homebrew There’s a 1″ lip around the top edge that make certain pots sit unevenly. The product photo looks like the top is flat and even with the burner surface but it isn’t. I have two different sized 10 gallon pots for homebrewing and the more narrow one would fit ok if not for the ball valve at the bottom of it which hits the 1″ lip. A slightly wider 10 gallon pot doesn’t fit down onto the surface because the of the lip. If only the top surface were flat this would be great for homebrewers.
Oddly constructed and questionably shipped Well, it works. There were a number of problems in shipping. When the cooker arrived, it was missing parts (the box looked pretty beat up, and I don’t know if that was the cause of the missing parts or not). However, when I contact King Kooker customer service, they responded (not really quickly, but they did respond) and sent me the missing parts. Except, they sent some of the incorrect parts and I had to contact them again (meanwhile, I went to the hardware store and spent about $10 on…
Awsome for outdoor cooking Love my King Kooker 82/82TKD. It arrived on time.It was easy to set up. Some Nut-Bolt was missing, had to make a trip to Lowe’s. The cooker works very good.Put out lots of heat. Please do not leave unattended during cooking.
