Ok, but not as good as I was hoping for. It’s OK, but not better than that. I was quite annoyed that the cross-over channels in this kit were incompatible with the burner tubes supplied in the same kit. (Note: the two items supplied in the kit were incompatible with EACH OTHER, not with my grill.) The problem was that on one side of the cross-over, there wasn’t enough space between the mounting hole and bulk of the crossover to allow space for the burner tube. I manager to make it work by elongating the mounting holes, but…
Mounting holes in crossover tubes are wrong! First please note my grill is the Brinkmann 810-2410-S.Mounting holes are all wrong but you can make it work. You decide if the price makes it worth it. I’d spend a few dollars more in hind sight. I like things to be right , especially when fire is involved. The crossover tubes are incorrectly sized for the burners supplied in the kit. They simply will not fit in the space between the burners using the holes where they are. You will need to elongate the holes or leave one side…
It works This came in on time and was well packaged. As the head line states, it works and works well. It was not quite as universal as I had hoped. The screws for the heat transfers were too small and the holes did not line up at all. Fortunately they are made of aluminum and I was able to snip the holes so they could be slid back and forth. I also needed to dig out some nuts and bolts from the old “collection can”. BUT other than that, this kit saved me from spending another couple hundred…
