Manufacturer Omits Product Limitations Background: This product supports modules: griddle top, burner and grill. The griddle and grill module are supported only in the left portion of this cook-top. This product can support two modules at a time.Problem: When the product is configured with the normal burners in the left pair, it is impossible to lower the gas flame to support simmering. Poor Design Another problem in addition to the one listed about the grill feature not allowing a low simmering ability, the down draft fan actually sucks heat from under the cooking pan/pots and therefore prevents heating or boiling. Therefore we cannot use the vent while cooking which is when one needs to use it. Had we not been given this unit as part of a new home purchase, we would have returned it.
