Great grill gas conversion hose with quick connect This is perfect for converting a propane grill to natural gas. The hose fits perfect where you remove the propane hose from under the grill. Then you connect the quick connect it comes with to your gas pipe. I had a 1/2 inch black iron pipe so I bought a 1/2 x 3/8 reducing coupling and a 3/8 short nipple to connect the 3/8 inch quick connect (see picture). Nice, but only for 1/2 psi gas This is a nice quality hose and QD but it needs to be stated in the description that it is only rated for 1/2 psi gas. It is of nice enough quality I think it would work at a higher pressure but if you are having to do anything to code on a 2 psi gas system you have to regulate it down before the hose.
Great Hose for Natural Gas Grill Conversion – Skip the Expensive Name Brands Worked perfect on my Broil King Signet 20! Product was high quality, fittings were machined well, length was perfect and hose material is top notch. I was able to remove my orifices and drill them out, cleaned all the burners and pans well, put everything back together and it fired up perfectly. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to convert their grill over to NG.I was NOT given this for a review – I paid my own hard earned green backs for it!
