Revived my old grill Replaced an old rubber hose model with this model to revive my 40 year old, yes 40 years, BBQ grill. This was NOT the first replacement, by the way. Have replaced the rubber hose variants several times past. So, for a few bucks more – about $5, if I’m not mistaken – I got this steel braided hose, which should be more durable than rubber, and less likely to crack in extreme weather, or even to catch fire from falling sparks (yeah, had that happen once or twice). So far, so good. :-))
LIKE A GLOVE! Tried firing up my grill for the first warm week after winter freezing, and wa’la… vermin completely chewed through my gas line. Ordered this for my Char Broil 2 burner, and it worked like a charm! Easy install and plenty of length for my little grill.
Revived my malfunctioning grill… My 10 year old propane grill was producing a really weak flame even after cleaning the burners and checking venturi tubes for obstruction. Replacing the regulator & hose with this and now flame is as good as new! Opted for this stainless steel braided version for a few dollars more just for extra security and insurance against any critters.
