… regulator and hose assembly for my grill using the recommended replacement part number from the manufacturer A few years back I bought a replacement regulator and hose assembly for my grill using the recommended replacement part number from the manufacturer. The hose was too short and put lateral stress on the fitting where it exited the regulator. Anyway, the recommended replacement only lasted about 2 years and the hose started separating and leaking fuel. This regulator assembly has a longer hose allowing it to loop without stress and I expect it will last much longer. And the price was right.
It leaked – can’t use it. It leaks. Not sure if this one is defective or design is faulty. Replaced my old unit attached the DozyAnt to the grill. Attached to propane canister turned on the gas and as soon as I jiggled the connection could hear a leak from the front and back of regulator. (where it connects to the hose). When I compared the DozyAnt to the OEM the connector itself is about 1/4 inch shallower and there is more play in the connections on either end of the regulator. Also interesting that the OEM had and…
