I would have thought they were better quality I have had this set for 2 months. I was looking for grill tools to replace my 15 year old set that was deterioriating. The tongs were flimsy and required tweeking to get them to align. The tongs never really gripped food well. It always seemed like I was having the squeeze the tongs too tightly. Recently, one of the tongs fell off the handle. The tongs are bound for the metal scrap pile.The spatula is good and sturdy.The mitt is cheesy.
Nice (but not dishwasher safe) This is a pretty nice set of grilling tools. Not heavy but sturdy enough to do the job. I especially like the spatula with the all the different edges. My only complaint would be with the tongs. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the manufacture had men in mind when designing these because as a woman with smaller hands I have to grip the tongs further down the handle than I’d like in order to squeeze them shut without it making my hand hurt. Perfect Gift My son in law loved this set. He grills out a lot, so this was very much appreciated. His favorite color is green so I was thrilled to see it in that color.
