A true infrared cooking system, these burners are located in the front and back of the stainless fire box and reflect intense heat off unique patent pending cooking reflectors and diffusers located in the middle of the fire box. This provides unparalleled heat distribution over 504 sq. in. of cooking space with minimum flare-ups. The IR-TEC uses an exclusive cooking system with a Vented Hood Liner that removes smoke from front to back, expelling vapors out the back. This also eliminates blasts of Hot Air when the hood is opened. The Chef’s Grill IR-TEC has one 11,000 BTU side burner and uses a 20 lbs. LP tank (not included). The UL certified Patented safety tank ring grasps the tank by the collar, making it impossible to dislodge the tank from the grill. Great Grill… While it lasted I first bought this grill on 7/20/2018 via amazon and it came with a free assembly service. When the service personal opened the box we have found the grill head badly damaged. it seemed someone had dropped the box during the shipping process (picture 1 and 2). No a big deal, I requested for a replacement.I got my replacement grill on 8/14/2018 and it was assembled shortly after by the same assembly service provided by amazon. This time the grill was in good shape out of the box…
This grill should get zero stars I bought this grill in the summer of 2018, It worked fine for the summer months, although you have to watch it closely because it gets hot quick.When the winter came I have several issues. The hood handle broke off on one side. The welds broke free. I’ve emailed the company several times to get support for the handle and no one has gotten back to me.Another issue with the grill is that in cold weather the knobs will not turn once the grill is lit. The knobs freeze up…
It gets hot quick! The removable debris pan was a little banged up from shipping and is a bit of a pain to put in and out. Grill worked outstanding, but can still flare up, so just be mindful. Overall quality was pretty decent. Grill was missing 1 machine screw for assembly. Picked up another screw from Lowes hardware.
