Little product info I just got done installing two of these on my BBQ 6 ft LP hose. What this product is, is a metal coil spring, about 34″ long with a diameter of 1″. If the end fittings on your supply hose are over 1″, the spring will not slide on and you will have to get the spring started on the hose and then keep winding it around and around the hose, more times then I could count. It is not an easy task. It took me 45 minutes to do the two springs. My fingers and wrist are still sore…
Effective Device The Brushtech guard is well made and it works very well on my Weber Genesis Silver grill. Almost perfect. Ok would of gave it 5 stars if it was easier to put on. Also needed 2 for my Weber propane hose. Pain in the @ss to put it on, you have to wind it on which took about 35 minutes straight! Wrists are very sore as I type this! But it will work and protect my 24.99 Weber brand adapter hose! (3rd one in two weeks!) Damn Squirrels!
