Packaging was horrendous The grill is great. I have no problems with it. Heats up to 700 degrees with no problem in minutes. I used the rotisserie for the first time last weekend and decided too refer another set of tines to do two chickens at once. No complaints what so ever with the grill itself.
Solid Grill, Flimsy Box Very pleased with the quality of this grill, super heavy solid SS grates, heavy cast aluminium fire box and lid. Knobs and ignition have a solid feel to them. Too bad the company chooses to ship in one, poorly packaged container. My grill arrived with a significant crack in the lid (Amazon does not stock replacement lids, 3-4 weeks, $95 + shipping through a private vendor). Beware of bad packaging Product design and quality has been on decline. I use to like Broil King grills due to the robust nature of the product and the fact that they are made in North America, however my most recent purchase of the sovereign 90xl was a disappointment. From the fail in packaging, the whole box was destroyed, to the bad design and poor instructions riddled with errors.
