Stainless Steel? Top cover Only!!! 1st the picture is misleading – the Amazon photo appears to have 3 round burner grills although the description indicates one large oval burner grill which is what i received. The three burners are actually all the same physical size – only the gas orifice is larger for the oval burner.2nd only the top surface is stamped stainless steel, most other components are plain steel including the actual burner support bases. The burner top cover itself is aluminum crimped over a plain steel…
Can’t simmer I’m mostly happy with this, it looks nice and it cooks stuff, mostly. The problem that I have with it is that the lowest setting is too high, there is no way to simmer rice or cook polenta with out burning. I’ve written to the company, their website is usless, I will update hen they get back to me with a solution.
