Not so excited I have had a Lynx Grill (L42PSR-1) for close to 3 years and wish I could say it lived up to its reputation. The fabrication of the grill itself is top notch and it its great to cook with – no question. The electronics have been problematic for some time now and I’m reduced to lighting it manually like a cheapo grill. An electrical engineer friend has the same grill and experienced similar problems. First review I have ever written. Bought this unit and am very very disapointed. Unit has caught on fire 3 times (electrical). First time Lynx sent me the replacment parts free saying there was an electrical defect in this model36″ Pro Sear Natural gas grill. 2nd and 3rd times it caught on fire I had to purchase the parts from LYNX. Over $200 for each fire. All electrical problems. I have spent much time on the phone with Lynx and I have been told its from the wind to, not supposed to…
