with preheating temperature easily reaching 500 F Purchased a new weber natural gas grill and had to splice the original gas hose to the hose that came with the grill (it was too short). The splice ended up constricting the gas flow and the grill would not reach searing temperature. So, I replaced the spliced hose with this new, longer one. Directly connecting from the gas pipe to the grill made the difference and now the weber works to spec, with preheating temperature easily reaching 500 F. 100% satisfied with this purchase as it solved…
Works Great and fixed the low BTU issue As mentioned before on other reviews here, bought a new Weber grill and the natural gas hose that came with it was too short. Tried to extend but the gas pressure was too low. This fixed the issue and now the grill is working as anticipated. Weber needs to reconsider sending short gas hoses, now have a 10′ gas hose that will never be used.

Direct replacement of original hose, no adapter fittings required. Hose is same great OEM quality. Grill still heats to 550 and now I can grill in the shade anytime of day.
